The Project

Misk School in Riyadh exemplifies the intersection of modern architecture and sustainable design, earning the coveted Sustainability Lighting Project of the Year award at the Light Middle East Awards 2025. More than just a testament to architectural excellence, its lighting design tells a story of innovation and purpose, redefining the role of light in shaping inspiring environments.

In collaboration with Light Alliance, LEDFlex delivered bespoke linear lighting solutions that harmonise with the school’s architectural vision.

The circulation areas and atrium staircase feature Ultimo Neon 16 3D, an IP67-rated silicone-encapsulated dual-bend solution, delivering durable and dynamic illumination. For the changing areas and lavatories, Ultimo Neon 10 provides precise and efficient lighting tailored to these functional spaces. At the heart of the school, the state-of-the-art auditorium showcases Eco Flex, our high-efficiency LED light engine that enhances the space’s rich textures and materials.

Across the campus, lighting transcends functionality, serving as a storytelling element that defines the identity of each space. With a seamless blend of aesthetic refinement and eco-conscious technology, the lighting design reflects Misk School’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, inspiring the leaders and innovators of tomorrow.
