Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel

A cosmopolitan getaway in Scotland’s historic capital, Kimpton Charlotte Square – formerly The Roxburghe Hotel – is set inside multiple interconnecting Georgian townhouses in the heart of the New Town, a UNESCO world heritage site. The recently restored and refurbished hotel draws inspiration from the genuine Scottish hospitality as well as the golden age of travel, keeping most of the exterior untouched.

As a part of the restoration project, we collaborated with Lighting Designers, Kelvin Lighting, to integrate our Lumen Line from our Flex Range into various locations of the hotel. For the lobby, we proposed the use of warm temperatures to give guests a taste of the brands subtlety and elegance. The Lumen Line can be seen flawlessly fixed on the backwall of the reception as well as on the front desk, crafting a breath-taking sense of grandeur from the moment guests step through the door. In contrast, the lumen line installed in the Salon Room is brighter and cooler in order to strike a perfect balance between work, rest and play.
