The Project
The Altis Property Partners building on 207 Pacific Highway in St.Leonards, Australia, features a striking sculptural black steel staircase beautifully designed and crafted by D-ARC Architects and Active Metal. In collaboration with Phosforma in Australia, LEDFlex designed bespoke lengths of SK Flexible Profile to be housed in the sweeping handrail providing a seamless line of light through many level changes within the handrail formation. The flexible profile blends perfectly with the form of the staircase and emits evenly distributed light, showcasing the brilliant design of the staircase and providing functional lighting.
